Mercenaries of CP Launch First Generation With High Ambitions

KLONDIKE, CP Army Headquarters – Recently, a new army emerged in the community called the Mercenaries of Club Penguin. Who are the Mercenaries, and what can we expect from them?

The Mercenaries were created on December 18th, 2021 by Zemerick (Midnight), and are currently being led by him, Bull Hour, and Da Best. On January 8th, 2022, the army had their opening event for which they maxed 8, but they aim to double that size one day.

After their opening event, Lorenzo, who was in the position of Leader in Training, retired due to some issues, and now the army’s HCOM has YyChroniX as the Second in Command, and Memero as the Third in Command. The army’s current uniform is a combination of the colors, Red and Black, and features a Pirate bandana; a strong tie to the meaning behind their army name, which refers to individuals who take part in military conflict for personal profit.

CP Army HQ had the opportunity to talk to both Zemerick and Bull Hour, and know their thoughts on the opening of Mercenaries.

What were the intentions behind creating Mercenaries?

Zemerick: Armies are dying so I thought this would be a good time to create an army.
Bull Hour: Actually it was not created by one person. Midnight(Zemerick) came up with an idea of creating a new army and I helped him in creating it.

Why did you all decide to keep the name as “Mercenaries of Club Penguin”?

Bull Hour: Because it’s a cool name. Midnight came up with this name. At first, I confused it with ‘Green Mercenaries.’ Well, its not that. It’s just ‘Mercenaries’.

What are your goals and plans for the Mercenaries?

Zemerick: To get to the top and be the strongest and most powerful army.

Bull Hour: Right now, we are focusing on recruiting and training staff and troops as we have new recruits. We are hoping to get on top and become a Powerhouse.

What was the motivation behind the army’s uniform?

Bull Hour: Well, Red x Black = a cool combination.

Given that you have been around in the army community for quite some time, what would you say, have been some of your learning experiences that you would like to incorporate within this army?

Bull Hour: Recruiting is the only way to keep the army alive and as a new army with new recruits, continuous CPR events can make them tired, so we are planning to host a movie streaming and other fun events to make them more active and have fun.irstly, we aim to shape the environment of the army, similar to that of a family, and then work as a family.

What are your thoughts on the opening event? Did it go the way you expected it to, or not?

Bull Hour: Yes, well I couldn’t make it to the event as I was out, and to be honest, it didn’t go the way I expected – but it’s alright for a formal opening event. We aim to grow slowly, and not too fast.

Where do you see the army going in a few months from now?

It is always exciting to see a new face, be it a person, or an army pop up in the army community. The Mercenaries are off to a good start, and their leaders seem to have a lot of plans for the army – but only time will tell how long they can sustain good results. Both Bull Hour and Zemerick seem to be determined, in making sure, that their army reaches the top, and we wish them and the Mercenaries good luck with it, and all their future endeavours.
