The Set Completed, Legoman Retires From People’s Imperial Confederation

BEANIE, People’s Imperial Confederation Capital – As the year comes to a close, one leaders decide to step away from his position. What is the reason behind his retirement? How will it impact the army?

On the 16th of December 2021, the People’s Imperial Confederation creator, Sidie9 announced the retirement of  Commander-in-chief Legoman. It was followed by an event in honor of their retired leader, where they broke their max record by achieving 40 plus.

Legoman’s retirement announcement

Created in October 2019, by Sidie9 and Proditor, the People’s Imperial Confederation has been growing strong  becoming one of the most successful armies in recent memory. They’ve kept their success rolling, participating in wars and battles, like the recent the World War VII which they joined the Vengeance Alliance alongside the Help Force, Red Ravagers and Army of Club Penguin against the Western Bloc.

Vengeance Alliance vs Western Bloc

Legoman joined the Dark Warriors on the March 16th, 2020. Within his tenure throughout armies, Legoman has enlisted in various places, most notable the Ice Warriors, Templars, and Special Weapons and Tactics. Following his leadership stint within the Special Weapons and Tactics, Legoman was inducted as the 11th leader of People’s Imperial Confederation. He led the People’s Imperial Confederation during World War VII against the Western Bloc.

Legoman retirement event

The CP Army HQ was able to interview Legoman about his thoughts on his retirement:

Why did you decide to retire?

Legoman: I had led PIC through a month long war, a world war, up to CC2 finals, broke the gen max record twice in a week, as well as adding an immense amount of graphics to the site. All of this allowed myself to obtain legend status within the army. With that in mind I could push on from the army because myself and my massive triceps have left an impact.

Do you think you were able to execute all that you had planned for the army during your time?

Legoman: I would go as far to say I had executed more than I initially intended. I joined with the intention to only lead for a brief amount of time before retiring, however I was able to lead through multiple victorious wars against the historic Golden Troops, and even lead the first World War that this community has experienced in an extremely long time. PIC was even able to beat out the Water Vikings on many occasions which is something that had surpassed my own assessment of this army when I enlisted many months prior. I was also able to revamp the Hall of Fame in the realm of graphics and organization, adding more ways to recognize members of the PIC community that went above and beyond for this army.

What has been the best thing about being a Leader?

Legoman: The best thing about being leader has been getting to acclimate myself to the community of the People’s Imperial Confederation and experience a side of armies I was unfamiliar with. I had been so absorbed in the SWAT community for an entire year, where I was able to recruit massive amounts of roblox kids, lead through wars, maintain maxes above twenty for the entire month of February, and lead the first ever HTML5 practice battle against the Army of Club Penguin. PIC allowed me to refine my skills and experience more of a different community which I very much grew accustomed to. While I was invested I was also able to take a step back and not have my happiness hinge on the success of a war battle, because I had finally understood that penguins have no impact on my emotions outside of the game and are merely a path to connect with people who once treasured this game the same way I did as a youngling. I regard those who may be considered my adversaries in high regard because we are all here for the same reasons, and though we find ourselves on the opposing end of the penguin battleground it does not mean anything is inherently bad about them.

Will you be coming back in the future?

Legoman: There is a potential that I may return, especially if PIC is in the midst of a major conflict and requires my assistance. But as of this moment I have no further plans as I firmly believe I have accomplished everything I could within my extremely lengthy career in armies. From maxing twenty-two in the Island Invaders with no allies back in 2020, to leading Operation: Templaria to a massive AUSIA success and seeing AUSIA maxes never before attained in a generation of SWAT that spanned over a year, to breaking PIC’s max record twice within a one week time span, briefly revolutionizing the media through podcasts and video summaries and producing articles faster than the major players and of course leading through a World War. I have accomplished more then I ever could have anticipated in armies, and learned immensely from this community.

Before we conclude, is there anything else you would like to say, or any advice you would like to give to the readers in general?

Legoman: Enjoy the holiday season and remember that this game is just a bunch of penguins running around sitting on each other. Never let this game change who you are, and it should never take a toll on your real life priorities. This should function as an escape and the minute it becomes a burden you should take a step back to focus on yourself and realign your priorities. Penguins are intended to be fun, not an outlet for cancel culture, but a window to meet some great individuals. I have met friends on this game that I’ve actually had the privilege of meeting in real life. It is insane the bonds you can create through this game, treasure that. As always, HOO RAH!

It seems that the community can expect a return from Legoman in the future, however for now he seems to be taking time for himself. When will Legoman return, and what army will he appear in next?
